Dahua Technology announced the release of ‘Deep Sense’, a server for video structure analysis with extremely high computing capabilities. This new technology was developed in partnership with NVIDIA, a world-leader in Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence is gaining weight in the global security sector with the latest innovation by Dahua, that combines Big Data, deep learning and GPU chipset with a powerful server that supports analysis of over 190 video channels. Deep Sense delivers up to 50 times stronger video processing capabilities compared to current propositions in the market. The server is equipped with Tesla P4 GPUs, specially developed for deep learning computing. This allows classification of video objects into human, vehicle and things, as well as the more systematic extraction of details and features.

Deep learning for the security industry

“Deep learning is one of the most significant new developments in the video surveillance industry. It can enable computers to accurately analyze large amounts of video content with a process that mimics the human brain,” says Mr. Zhu Jiangming, Executive Vice President of Dahua Technology. As a global manufacturer of video surveillance solutions, Dahua is already an advanced player on matters as vehicle big data, face recognition big data and visual extraction deployment.

Dahua Technology is Partner of Amsterdam Security Convention, 31 October – 2 November 2017 at RAI Amsterdam.
